Taskmaster Unveils Contestants for Its 19th Season: The line-up for the 19th season of Taskmaster has been revealed, with the show set to return to Channel 4 soon. The new series will feature a diverse group of comedians and performers vying for glory under the watchful eyes of Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

  • Fatiha El-Ghorri
    A London-based comedian of Moroccan heritage, Fatiha began her stand-up career in 2015. She has appeared on Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, The Russell Howard Hour, and The Big Fat Quiz of Everything. In 2022, she was part of the cast on the second season of Dave’s Outsiders, hosted by David Mitchell.
  • Jason Mantzoukas
    An American actor, comedian, and podcaster, Jason is widely recognized for his roles as Rafi in The League and Jay Bilzerian in Netflix’s Big Mouth. He co-hosts the podcast How Did This Get Made? and has made appearances in Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Good Place. On the big screen, he played Nadal in The Dictator.
  • Mathew Baynton
    A co-creator and star of Ghosts, Mathew portrayed the poetic Thomas Thorne in the popular BBC series. He previously collaborated on Horrible Histories and Yonderland with the same team and co-created the comedy-drama The Wrong Mans alongside James Corden. His other TV credits include Gavin & Stacey, Spy, Peep Show, and Quacks.
  • Rosie Ramsey
    Rosie is best known for co-hosting the hit podcast Shagged Married Annoyed with her husband, comedian Chris Ramsey. She has also appeared on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Would I Lie to You?, and the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2022.
  • Stevie Martin
    Comedian, actor, and podcaster Stevie Martin began her comedy career at Durham University and as part of the sketch group Massive Dad. Known for her viral online sketches, which have garnered over 45 million views, Stevie has appeared on Late Night Mash, Starstruck, and The Emily Atack Show.

Greg Davies will return as the titular Taskmaster, with Alex Horne reprising his role as the loyal assistant.

While the broadcast schedule for the new season has yet to be confirmed, Taskmaster continues to be a global success. The UK version is now available in 120 countries, and the show’s YouTube channel has amassed over a billion views since launching in October 2019.

The series is produced by Alex Horne, Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett, James Taylor, Jon Thoday, and Andy Devonshire. Andy Devonshire also directs, with Andy Cartwright serving as series producer. The show was commissioned by Channel 4’s head of live events, Tom Beck.
