Nearly a decade after its initial release, Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) has found an unexpected second wind at the box office. The romantic drama, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, had a lukewarm theatrical run upon its debut, earning approximately ₹9 crore in its lifetime. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film raked in ₹5.14 crore on its first day, surpassing half of its original first-week earnings. The momentum continued on Day 2 with ₹6.22 crore, taking its re-release total beyond the 2016 lifetime collections. By Day 3, Sanam Teri Kasam had earned an additional ₹6.25 crore, bringing the re-release total to ₹18 crore and pushing the film’s overall box office earnings past ₹25 crore.
